MUST HAVE BOOKS for WRITERS
It’s always important to write a novel (short story or even a blog post), with the right elements and grammar.
As Italian born child, I have spent something like 8 years studying English language at school, improving it everyday with music (I love to sing and write songs as well), movies, TV series, and books in English language.
At the Comics’ School in addition I learned rules and secrets about storytelling – writing both comics and novels requires the same level of ingenious ability to keep the reader glued to your story.
Today, I found these two books that I am going to buy to help me translate my novels and search new storytelling hints.
Not just because Stephen King is my #01 Author but I read their first pages on line and I already love them.
The first one is not only a lesson for writers, but also a Stephen King’s autobiography; he himself suggests the other book which is quite a lot older but nonetheless very useful.
Writing is a tough work, and yes you must have the sparkling story idea, but then you ought to bring it out of your mind in the best way – storytelling and grammar are the fundamentals, and I guess we’ll get some good lines with these books.
You can find them on the Amazon site, both paperback, and for Stephen King’s, also kindle edition (if you are more “technological” and rather have it on your laptop, or ipad, etc.; me, I’m still a paper-lover even if I appreciate the ebooks convenience and saving space quality).
Hope you find these reading interesting as I do, and if you already have them, feel free to share here your comments and reviews about their merits.
